Biography

Emily Munoz is an incoming student and Posse Scholar at Vanderbilt University, where she plans to major in Political Science. Her passion for conversations, pop culture, and social justice has led her to develop a deep interest in politics and civic engagement. Emily's experiences include being a Young Scholar with the African American Policy Forum, a NYPL Teen Reading Ambassador, a Chalkbeat Student Voices Fellow, an award-winning published poet, and a youth leader at the NYC Mayor's Office. She is also an incoming Bank of America Student Leader and a Princeton Prize in Race Relations Honoree.
