The 2023 Peace x Relational & Inclusive Education Global Action Circle collaborated in crafting this poem, prompted to express their visions and radical imaginings through a 'What If' question. This poem signifies the conclusion of their 'What If' phase in the learning journey, marking the onset of the final phase—'What Now'.
What if...
What if we all had the time and resources to connect and spread love at every moment?
What if inclusive and equitable education was accessible for every child?
What if we developed a proper policy that will bring about conflict resolution strategies for all school going students from different cultural backgrounds?
What if our education system is not competitive in nature? That ranks are not seen as a basis of ones intelligence?
What if quality education was free/affordable and accessible to all learners?
What if every less privileged communities are trained with Entrepreneurial skills so as to promote sustainable equitable quality education to their children?
What if we engaged with learning through a liberatory manner?
What if our education system become capable of fostering responsible and autonomous learners?
What if education is free or students could pay their own fees?
What if western society focused more on living communally together and with the land?
What if we practiced decoloniality?
What if all beings were supported to flourish in their own ways?
What if the education had no barrier and it was just a pure transmit of knowledge from one person to another?
